The aim of this project was to obtain CT scans of patients with varying degrees of osteoporosis. Approximately 5 femurs per grade of osteoporosis and generate patient specific finite element of each femur.
The data will be examined to measure the performance of various existing designs of hemi arthroplasty. This projects hopes to provide recommendation designs of new hemi-arthroplasty, as well as analyse the new design of hemi-arthroplasty.
